Marae Noho Kohewhata marae

Tomorrow we are going to Kohewhata Marae for a sleep over and we are going to do heaps of activities about Matariki this is what Kohewhata Marae will look like.

Recount Writing

Last few weeks ago in Te Ngahere we started writing about reduce,reuse,recycle.Our WALT was to:use the correct structure for a persuasive piece of writing I am proud of my writing..I had heaps of information about it. Watching videos, learning buddies and making a collaborative plan for my writing really helped.Link

Visual Mihi

This week in Te Ngahere we have been making a visual Mihi that helped me remember our morning mihi.Our WALT was to: understand a mihi, I created a google drawing and added photos that helped me remember most of the words. This helped me to remember the mihi.

Maths Goals

Last week in Te Ngahere we were learning to do our maths goals. I chose my maths goals because i need to learn them. I really like my maths goals because they might help me more and help me complete Level 6.

William Pike

Last week Te Ngahere read a book  called ‘’The Rep’’.It was a boy preparing to be picked for the rep team.At the end he was really angry so he  got told a story about a man climbing mountains with one leg. His name was William Pike.William Pike had lost his leg. It got amputated because him and his friends were climbing Mount Ruapaehu when it erupted and suddenly a rock landed  on his leg.William Pikes

Common noun and proper noun

Last week in Te Ngahere, the whole class had to attend a  common nouns and proper nouns workshop. We had to make a google drawing to show the teacher that we understood the difference between a proper noun and common noun.

My Writing Goals

Last week Te Ngahere were working on their writing goals, when we had finished we had to show the teachers to prove that we are finished, then we did the rest of our goals and they were maths and reading.
