Noho.

WALT: Organise and follow the structure of a recount.

On thursday we went to Kohewhata marae for a sleep over and to learn matariki, the seven sisters. when tautoro school had got to Kohewhata marae.

We had got welcomed in to the whare tupuna. then we walked in the marae, walked around and had a look at the the carvings in the marae then after we did that we walked around by papa wikitoria and honeed him then after everyone did that he had did a mihi then after he did a mihhi whaea mary had to sing him a waiata.Then matt did a mihi then our school stood up and singed him a waita we all did the same thing to sonny purua as well after that we had went for a kai to relece the tupu off us.

After that we had to get into our groups that we had got put in after that the year 8's had to get our food ready for dinner just as well as our dessert heaps of kids love the greens and the cottage pie and the dessert the dessert was really nice because it had so much plums in it.

A few hours later we had watched a video about planets and were the stars were the favroite about that video was a little spec the little spec was us we are as little as a baby spiderthen a few minutes later the video had finally finished after the video had finished some of the kids had went for a shower then went to bed. For a shower after shower everyone went to bed.

The next morning the years 8's had to wake up at 6.clock to prepare breakfast  before everyone had come onto the kitchen we had got everything together then we all did karakia together then the little kids went up first then the next kids went up and then finally us.

after we had breakfast the year 8's had to get ready to do lunch for lunch we had Hot dogs,Biscuits and hot chocolate after we had did that we were finally had a chance to go and play outside after we had played outside we went for a photo outside the marae.

After the photo we had went back into the marae to finish off our powhiri then we all stood up did a waiata and then we had thank them and the busses had finally showed up.

Marae Noho Kohewhata marae

Tomorrow we are going to Kohewhata Marae for a sleep over and we are going to do heaps of activities about Matariki this is what Kohewhata Marae will look like.
