My Writing Goals

Last week Te Ngahere were working on their writing goals, when we had finished we had to show the teachers to prove that we are finished, then we did the rest of our goals and they were maths and reading.

Student Led Conferences

On Monday it was Student Led Conferences.We made a google drawing to show our Whanau what we have being learning and achieved at school.We had to show what/how/  we have being learning.

Matariki

Last week on friday Paihia School had celebrated Matariki day.As some of the kids had woke up at six o'clock to come to School and have breakfast and then go to the beach and watch the seven stars.Ten minutes later we all had walked back in a group.Then by then time they had got back the morning bus was there.When the bell had rung we had to share our celebrations slides with the rest of our class.Some of us were allowed to paint but there was not much painting going on there. Then well the day was hot and got hotte.We had to go and plant plants around our pump track. Then we had played some games with Matua Harko Brown His Maori games were really fun to play.Before that we had a shared lunch with the whole school.Then after that we had Assembly and kapa haka then it was home time.

Going to the Treaty Grounds

Last week Te Ngahere ,Te Moana and Te Maunga had walked all the way to the Waitangi Treaty Grounds and we had so much fun.We had planted trees  and other plants and played some games then we  moved. I planted some plants with my buddy Reitu and then after that we had to wait then we all walked all the way back to the other side and then we had to swap activities after we had planted some plants. We wove a kite then we went outside and had a challenge and Reitu and Patience were the prettiest one there and Kingi and Ezia was the fastest.

Fidget Spinners

A few weeks ago Te Ngahere and Te Maunga had did some art.We had draw fidget spinners and we had used a piece of A3 paper and we had used crayon die.

Making ice cream.

Two weeks ago Te Ngahere had made ice cream! But first we had to finish our learning plan in 10 minutes.  We had to have a 100% so that we can make the ice cream. We had to do write a recount about making ice cream my goal were  to use Commas.

My Tangelo

As I felt the tangelo it was really hard like a orange and not that perfect.

Then I had looked around it all I could see is dirt and a bright color orange and when I had peeled the skin off the tangelo and then some juice off the skin had went into my eye and then my eye got sore when I had peeled it all I took a bite of it and then all the juice just come pouring out of the nice tangelo and all the juice I went all over the place but I enjoyed it so much I wanted another one but I wasn't aloud to so I had another one at lunch time.

This is my tangelo description writing.I was learning to do my similes and  Metaphors .I also used the five sense to help me write my tangelo story it helps me get all the information  from my tangelo when I ate it it was sweet and tasted yuck but i loved it and it was nice.
